It is an evolution of the classic Gregory and Brilhart-type alto sound, enhanced by our innovative Medium-Stadium-Chamber™ for added depth and projection. The BRAHMA Alto lends itself well to straight-ahead Jazz in the vein of Paul Desmond and Art Pepper, but is equally at home in more contemporary contexts, as it has great projection, crisp articulation, and enough edge when desired for any musical context.
It features tapered inner sidewalls and rollover Shark Gill baffle, as well as Theo’s new Medium-Stadium Chamber™, utilizing many of the design cues and innovations found in the popular Brahma tenor and soprano models.
The BRAHMA alto is machined from premium, vintage-style Hard Rubber with a traditionally shaped body and beak for a familiar feel, and includes our Enlightened Ligature and Reed Replacer cap.
