The Forestone Alto Saxophone, crafted in Japan by master instrument maker Atsushi Watanabe, combines outstanding Japanese manufacturing quality with a highly flexible and distinctive sound.
The DCTV process, developed by B.Air, optimizes the resonance of the individual components. Combined with the innovative hybrid post construction, using a combination of smaller ribs and individual posts, the body is able to vibrate more freely. This results in an easy response and a rich, colorful and lively sound.
The Forestone is often described as combining classic Selmer and Conn characteristics. The gold lacquer version offers a compact, warm and modern sound that can be shaped with great flexibility, making it an excellent all-round saxophone for a wide range of styles, from jazz and pop to classical music.
An optional Jazz neck is available, offering more core and punch compared to the standard Classic neck.
