As a creative musician playing the saxophone for over 35 years, striving for a truly great sound has been a constant personal quest which has ultimately spawned the development of my own line of saxophone mouthpieces. I began as a student of the art of mouthpiece making more than 25 years ago and the fruits of that study have manifested themselves in the TKMP mouthpiece lines available today. The proof of my mouthpieces is in the playing and through my own extensive play-testing I have made discoveries and refinements that continue to this day. Simply, if I am not happy with the way a mouthpiece plays it will not leave the workshop. It is this integrity and devotion that makes what I believe to be the finest saxophone mouthpieces on the market today."

Das New York Lineage Modell ist eine neue Interpretation unseres sehr beliebten New York Modells – gefertigt aus einem innovativen Resin-Material, das sowohl spielerisch als auch preislich überzeugt.

Die Lineage Serie wird aus einem dichten, medizinischen Resin (USP Class VI) gefertigt. Das Material wurde so gewählt, dass Gewicht und Spielgefühl von traditionellem Ebonit möglichst authentisch nachempfunden werden, gleichzeitig aber ein deutlich attraktiveres Preisniveau ermöglicht wird.

Das Mundstück bietet die Wärme und klangliche Komplexität, die man von hochwertigem Ebonit erwartet, kombiniert mit einer außergewöhnlich hohen Konsistenz und Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber wechselnden Bedingungen.

Hand finished in polished German ebonite (hard rubber), this is the same core design as our acclaimed brass Yardbird model, but with that extra warmth and reed flexibility that hard rubber is known for. It has that same power and “pop” as the brass but a bit more “reed friendly” and accommodates a normal HR alto ligature (included).
